The morning came early with little sleep after 1AM.  I made the coffee and filled the Crockpot with ham and beans for soup.  Todd and I went about getting ready to weigh anchor and take OB on her last leg in the Bahamas before crossing the Atlantic into the USA.

The ride to West End was a non-event.  We put some diesel in OB to get her ready for the run across the Atlantic and went to our assigned slip at Old Bahama Bay Marina.  It was a hot and humid day and OB turned into an inferno without the help of our pilothouse and salon air conditioners.

After we got OB settled in her dock, Todd and I headed for the pool.  Charlie headed for the master stateroom to take advantage of the one working air conditioner.  The pool was a welcome relief as was the beach bar and grill after our swim.

We were delayed another day due to unwelcoming seas so we tried to take best advantage of the time.  Todd did all his engine checks and set up his electronic charting for the crossing.  I pulled out the Florida Charts and guides.  After that we took advantage of what the resort had to offer.

These curly tail lizards are an oddity.  They are a little bigger than our brown lizards in Florida...and have way more attitude!

There was this huge checkers and chess set in the middle of the resort courtyard.
